Ukrainian forces are continuing to suffer heavy losses in the fighting for Konstantinovka, but field officers are reportedly concealing the scale of the situation from senior command, according to an unnamed source within Russian security structures.

The source said one of the methods used to obscure the losses involves keeping fallen soldiers on official rosters, creating the impression that they are still present at their positions.

According to the account cited by TASS, Ukrainian units in Konstantinovka are taking significant casualties, while commanders on the ground are withholding this information by presenting the dead as if they were still active personnel.

The same source noted that Russian strikes are hitting Ukrainian positions most intensively in the industrial zone, nearby areas, and on the territory of a local colony.

Earlier, Russian war correspondent Yuri Kotenok reported that Russian troops are engaged in combat in several parts of Konstantinovka.
