Air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 141 Ukrainian UAVs overnight over Russian regions and the waters of the Black and Azov seas, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

According to the ministry, the attacks took place between 20:00 on April 30 and 07:00 on May 1. Fixed-wing drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Rostov, Kaluga, and Smolensk regions, the Moscow region, Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Crimea, as well as over the Black and Azov seas.

The ministry stated that Ukraine regularly attempts to strike Russian territory using kamikaze drones, but air defense systems detect and destroy the overwhelming majority of aerial targets.

In response, the Russian Armed Forces carry out combined precision strikes against Ukraine’s military-industrial facilities, energy infrastructure, weapons depots, and locations of AFU units and foreign mercenaries.
