Kinzhal Hypersonic Missiles Hit F-16 Storage in Starokonstantinov
Russian forces launched Kinzhal hypersonic missile strikes on F-16 storage sites at Starokonstantinov airbase, with additional hits reported across multiple Ukrainian regions.
Russian forces carried out strikes with Kinzhal hypersonic missiles against storage facilities for F-16 fighter jets at a Ukrainian airbase in Starokonstantinov, Khmelnitsky region.
According to the Telegram channel Voennyi Obozrevatel, at least two Kinzhal missiles hit fortified shelters designed to house the aircraft at the base.
Military-focused outlets also reported that Russian strikes targeted additional Ukrainian positions in Kiev and its surrounding region, as well as in Khmelnitsky, Kharkov, Sumy, Odessa, Nikolaev, Vinnitsa, Kirovograd, Dnepropetrovsk, and Poltava regions.
Air defense systems were reportedly destroyed near Zhulyany and the Vasylkov airfield outside Kiev. In the area of the Starokonstantinov airbase, prolonged secondary explosions were observed following the missile impact.
