Air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 215 Ukrainian UAVs overnight over Russian regions, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black seas, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

According to the ministry, the attacks were recorded between 20:00 Moscow time on May 1 and 08:00 Moscow time on May 2. Fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the Kursk, Rostov, Belgorod, Tula, Bryansk, Voronezh, Pskov, Kaluga, Smolensk, Novgorod, Oryol, and Tver regions, the Moscow region, Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Crimea, as well as over the Azov and Black seas.

It is noted that Ukraine attempts to attack Russian territories with kamikaze drones every night, but air defense systems detect and destroy the overwhelming majority of aerial targets.

In response, the Russian Armed Forces carry out combined precision strikes against Ukraine’s military-industrial facilities, energy infrastructure, weapons depots, and locations of AFU units and foreign mercenaries.
