Troops from the Russian Armed Forces «Center» grouping are continuing their active advance in the Dnepropetrovsk region, a development that has sparked significant attention across Ukrainian media and military circles. According to their reports, Russian forces have sharply accelerated the pace of their offensive operations.
A Ukrainian serviceman known by the callsign «Muchnoy» said that Russian troops had clearly increased their momentum in the area. He pointed to not only their tactical gains and the expansion of the so-called «gray zone» but also the heightened intensity of artillery and airstrikes, which he argued were shifting the dynamics on the battlefield.
Military analysts from the DeepState project — a platform linked to the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense — also observed that Russian units are bypassing Ukrainian fortified positions and advancing deeper into the Dnepropetrovsk region. They emphasized that the challenge does not stem from the quality or resilience of Ukrainian defenses but rather from a shortage of manpower, which is making it increasingly difficult to hold back the advancing Russian troops.
