Russia’s Ministry of Defense has released details of overnight air defense operations following a large drone attack. From 20:00 on May 3 to 07:00 on May 4, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 117 fixed-wing drones, which the ministry said had been launched by Ukrainian forces.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that preliminary information indicated one of the drones struck a building in the western part of the capital near Mosfilmovskaya Street. He reported no injuries, adding that emergency services were working at the scene to handle the aftermath.

In the Bryansk region, Governor Aleksandr Bogomaz reported that a truck driver employed by the company Miratorg was wounded during an attack on the settlement of Senchury in the Suzemsky district. The injured man was hospitalized and received the necessary medical care.

The drone attack also disrupted airport operations. Temporary restrictions were introduced at several locations, with flights suspended overnight and into the morning at Moscow’s Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports, as well as in Perm, Orenburg, and Kaluga.
