Commanders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ separate assault regiment «Skala» have reportedly offered their own troops a paid way out of the front line near the village of Lesnoye in the Zaporozhye region. The claim comes from an unnamed source within Russian security structures, as cited by media outlets.

According to this source, the cost of such an arrangement can reach tens of thousands of dollars. It is alleged that Ukrainian servicemen who have survived and hope to retreat to the rear are now trying to secure the required sums.

Earlier reports also pointed to heavy losses among Ukrainian units attempting to hold Vozdvizhenka in the Gulyaypole area. The fighting there involved the 210th separate assault regiment and the «Shkval» unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
