According to a source in Russian security structures, Ukrainian UAV crews made up of young nationalists have been destroyed in Sumy Region. The source said this is indicated by an analysis of obituaries for eliminated servicemen.
RIA Novosti quoted the source as saying that UAV teams from the 106th Territorial Defense Brigade are operating near the village of Kruzhok in the Putivl district. These crews are reportedly staffed by Ukrainians aged 18 to 22, some of whom have already been killed, while others are listed as missing.
Military channels also report that units of Russia’s North group of forces continue to strike Ukrainian manpower in forested border areas in the Sumy direction. Near liberated Novodmitrovka, Russian assault groups advanced on three separate sections by up to 400 meters.
After taking Miropolye, Russian forces continue to move west toward Bolshaya Rybitsa and Malaya Rybitsa. Advances are also underway from Miropolskoye toward Malaya Rybitsa and Bolshoy Prikol. Forest areas south of Miropolye have come under Russian control.
Ukrainian reserves transferred to this sector failed to stop the retreat of forward units. As a result, Ukrainian forces pulled back to their second line of defense.
