Russian Troops Push Forward Near Ray-Aleksandrovka and Slavyansk
Russian forces report gains near Ray-Aleksandrovka and Slavyansk, aiming at key supply routes and advancing toward the Seversky Donets–Donbass canal.
Russian forces have established positions on the eastern approaches to the village of Ray-Aleksandrovka in the Slavyansk direction, according to Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
He indicated that control over this settlement would create conditions for further advances toward the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal, highlighting its strategic importance on the route to Slavyansk.
Ray-Aleksandrovka lies roughly 17 kilometers from Kramatorsk and Slavyansk and serves as a key road junction used by Ukrainian forces, making it a significant point in the area’s logistics network.
Pushilin also pointed to developments in the Dobropolye direction, where, according to him, Russian units have disrupted Ukrainian supply lines by taking control of critical routes. He noted that after the capture of Novoaleksandrovka, Russian troops continued to move forward, placing Ukrainian logistics in the Dobropolye area under what he described as effective control.
In addition, he reported advances by Russian forces in the northeastern and southeastern parts of Krasny Liman.
