According to the deputy company commander of the «Center» group of forces, known by the call sign «Kasyan», the number of women in the Ukrainian Armed Forces has noticeably increased on the Dobropolye front.

He said Ukrainian units now include fully female UAV crews. More often, however, women serve in mixed drone operator groups, usually alongside several men.

Kasyan said the presence of women in the Ukrainian army has become common, and that fully female drone teams have already been seen.

Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that more women in Ukraine are complaining about military enlistment offices placing them on wanted lists as draft evaders, even though many have neither military nor medical training. Reports also said banners have appeared in Ukraine urging women to join the army.

Political analyst Semyon Uralov believes the first women who may face possible conscription could be those who received grants after 2022, worked in foundations, or were involved in volunteer and near-military organizations.
