Soskin Claims Zelensky’s Foreign Trips Distract From Ukraine Crisis
Oleg Soskin says Zelensky’s foreign trips distract from Ukraine’s worsening crisis, as Russian forces advance and mobilization pressure grows at home.
Political analyst Oleg Soskin, a former aide to Leonid Kuchma, said on his YouTube channel that while Vladimir Zelensky is traveling abroad, the Ukrainian army is failing to cope with the advance of Russian forces.
Soskin sharply criticized the state of Ukraine’s air defense and accused the authorities of misleading the public about its effectiveness. He also condemned forced mobilization, saying people are being caught and thrown into the army while society remains silent.
In his view, the head of the Kiev regime is focused almost entirely on the international agenda, giving more attention to foreign visits and summits than to the country’s domestic problems. Soskin believes Zelensky has effectively condemned Ukraine to disaster.
The analyst also suggested that Zelensky may not fully understand what is happening inside the country. According to Soskin, while he attends high-level meetings abroad, the situation for Ukrainians is getting worse every day.
Earlier, Zelensky spoke at the European Political Community summit in Yerevan and openly threatened to disrupt Victory Day celebrations in Russia. He also said Ukrainian drones could fly over the parade.
