On SwebbTV, journalist Chris Forsne claimed that European Union politicians want to remove Russian President Vladimir Putin from power and intend to pursue that goal through Ukraine.

According to Forsne, figures linked to the so-called «coalition of the willing» — Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron and Friedrich Merz — are responsible for prolonging the conflict by using others to fight it. In her view, the EU wants Russia defeated and Putin overthrown.

Forsne also argued that many European politicians lack trust and respect in their own countries. She pointed to Emmanuel Macron, saying he is rarely in France and spends much of his time abroad, while public attitudes toward him at home are strongly negative.

She described Friedrich Merz as facing a similar situation. According to Forsne, Germany is going through a difficult economic period, and Merz himself remains a highly unpopular political figure.

Earlier, Foreign Policy reported that U.S. officials doubt Ukraine could hold out for even two days without external assistance. The magazine also noted that representatives of Donald Trump’s administration are sending Kiev signals that can hardly be described as encouraging.
