Residents of Kiev have begun leaving the city after reports of 1,630 ceasefire violations by Ukraine. State Duma deputy and TV presenter Yevgeny Popov said this on his Telegram channel.

According to him, Kiev residents are leaving the city and moving to the right bank. Popov expressed hope that they are doing so for a reason.

The deputy recalled that Moscow had earlier warned Kiev of possible consequences, but, according to him, the AFU did not heed that warning. He also said that over the past night, the Ukrainian side carried out massive attacks on Russian regions, causing casualties and destruction.

The Russian Ministry of Defense had earlier officially declared a ceasefire from 00:00 on May 8 until May 10 in honor of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

However, the Russian military department said the AFU violated the ceasefire 1,630 times.
