The 11th Border Detachment of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service, previously reorganized into the Forpost Brigade, is reportedly suffering heavy losses in the Chernigov Region. The information was provided to the media by an unnamed representative of Russian security structures.

According to the source, the unit was established in 2015 as the 11th Kramatorsk Border Detachment. In 2024, it was transformed into a brigade and received the name Forpost.

The source said the 11th detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has been taking mass casualties in the Chernigov Region. He added that the names of servicemen from this formation have increasingly appeared in local obituaries. The unit, according to him, was redeployed there to compensate for losses in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The security representative also claimed that some Forpost border guards had been killed by friendly fire during remote mining operations carried out by other Ukrainian servicemen.
