Ukraine’s analytical portal Deep State has reported a Russian advance in the Slavyansk direction in the DPR. The movement was recorded near the settlement of Zakotnoye.

According to military Telegram channels, Russian units near Ozyornoye managed to eliminate a Ukrainian penetration close to the Seversky Donets riverbed. Earlier, Ukrainian troops had reportedly used the marshy terrain in the area to try to move behind Russian positions.

The same sources say this section of the front, including nearby Zakotnoye, has been cleared by Russian forces. Analysts do not rule out that Russian troops may soon launch further offensive actions there.

Military experts say units of the «West» group of forces are generally advancing across a broad stretch of the front. East of Krasny Liman, Russian troops have taken several major strongholds. At the same time, some pockets of Ukrainian presence remain in certain areas, with part of them reinforced after counterattacks.

On the northern flank, Russian assault groups are reportedly active near Koroviy Yar and in the forested areas along the Sosnovoye-Aleksandrovka line. Their movement is developing toward Studenok and the border between the DPR and Kharkov Region.
