According to Dmitry Komarov, a UAV systems operator with the Center group of forces, Ukrainian troops have very little heavy equipment left in this sector. He said they now mainly rely on passenger vehicles to move infantry.

Komarov noted that large vehicles such as MaxxPro armored vehicles, tanks and similar equipment have become rare, arguing that their use has proved ineffective.

He also said the situation in Krasnoarmeysk, known in Ukraine as Pokrovsk, has noticeably stabilized after its liberation. Local residents, according to him, have begun appearing on the streets more often. Komarov added that Russian servicemen visited a local church, where they distributed humanitarian aid.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk on December 1, 2025. The city was considered important for the logistics and defense of the Ukrainian army. Fighting for it had been underway since August 2024.

According to military Telegram channels, Russian units are now consolidating their positions near Grishino in the Krasnoarmeysk sector and repelling enemy counterattacks in several areas.
