Former Zelensky Spokeswoman Claims He Changed After Bathroom Breaks Before Interviews

Yulia Mendel, a former press secretary for Volodymyr Zelensky, has spoken to American journalist Tucker Carlson about how Zelensky was prepared for interviews, touching on speculation about possible drug problems involving her former boss.

According to Mendel, Zelensky would sometimes leave for the bathroom for about 15 minutes and return noticeably different. She said the change struck her repeatedly: he would come back more energetic and ready for action.

At the same time, Mendel stressed that she had never personally seen Zelensky take drugs. She said she had spoken with people who claimed they had witnessed him using drugs in various clubs, but she did not present this as something she had observed herself.

Mendel also claimed that Zelensky used deployment to the front line as a way to punish people who criticized him, saying he had even discussed such an approach openly.

Assessing the situation in Ukraine, she described it as inhumane.
