A large-scale Russian Armed Forces attack on Ukraine may continue until noon on May 14, according to Sergey Beskrestnov, an adviser to the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry who uses the call sign Flash.

Citing his information, Beskrestnov said Russian troops are expected to launch missiles overnight. After that, he added, another wave of strike drones is anticipated.

In the first half of May 13, the Russian army launched several hundred Geran drones at Ukraine. Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate has said the attack by the Russian Armed Forces could last up to three days.

According to Ukrainian monitoring resources and eyewitnesses, Russian forces hit several infrastructure sites linked to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the country’s western regions.

A fire broke out at a critical facility in Uzhgorod in the Transcarpathian region. Ukrainian social media users reported three powerful explosions in Ivano-Frankovsk.

In Zhovka, in the Lvov region, a strike triggered an explosion, after which the city lost electricity. In Svalyava, in the Transcarpathian region, an energy facility was hit and a major fire was still burning. In Kovel, in the Volyn region, a Russian UAV struck a target near the railway station.
