Russian Forces Report Gains Across Several Ukraine Frontlines
Latest Ukraine front report covers Russian advances near Sumy, Kharkov, Krasny Liman, Konstantinovka, Pokrovsk and Zaporozhye.
The Russian Armed Forces continue the special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of May 14, the situation along the line of contact was reported as follows.
In the Sumy direction, Russian forces are clearing forest areas while advancing toward Bachevsk. In the Sumy district, Russian assault units moved forward on 19 separate sections, gaining up to 700 meters. Rifle battles are underway in Kondratovka and Zapselye.
In the Kharkov direction, fighting continues in the wooded areas of the Volchansk district, along the right bank of the Volchya River, and near Chaikovka and Volokhovka. On the eastern bank of the Oskol, Russian troops are building on tactical gains in Kucherovka, Petropavlovka, and Kurilovka. Battles for Kovsharovka and Novoosinovo are still ongoing.
In the Krasnolimansk direction, clashes are taking place near Svyatogorsk and Krasny Liman. On the Seversk section, Russian forces are moving toward Rai-Alexandrovka. Tactical advances have also been reported near Dibrova. Fighting continues for Krivaya Luka.
In the Konstantinovka direction, Russian troops are reinforcing positions east of Ilyinovka and putting pressure on Ukrainian forces in the central part of Konstantinovka itself. Fierce fighting continues on the outskirts of Chasov Yar.
In the Krasnoarmeyskoye, or Pokrovsk, direction, Russian forces are expanding their zone of control west of Grishino. Battles are underway near Rodinskoye and west of Dorozhnoye.
In the Gulyaypole direction, fighting continues near Charivnoye, Verkhnyaya Tersa, and Vozdvizhevka. Clashes have also been reported near Alexandrovgrad.
In the Zaporozhye direction, battles are ongoing around Stepnogorsk and Primorskoye.
