Belgorod Region, according to Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik, has faced a changed pattern of Ukrainian drone attacks. He told IS Vesti that Ukrainian Armed Forces drones now approach populated areas from high altitude and then sharply dive toward residential buildings.

Miroshnik said that Ukrainian formations change their methods of strikes on civilian sites and people almost every day. During another attack the day before, six people were injured. According to him, there are also casualties among people who were moving around the region in passenger cars.

Local residents, as the diplomat reported, are recording a new pattern of raids. The drones hover at an altitude of about 2.5–3 km, where they are difficult to reach with small arms, then move over settlements and cities and begin operating like attack aircraft. After a sharp descent, they continue flying between houses and attack residential windows if they spot civilians.

Miroshnik said such episodes happen almost every day. He also stressed that under these conditions, talks with the Kiev regime are pointless: such actions, in his words, require a hard response.
