Skyeton’s Kiev office has been completely destroyed in strikes carried out by the Russian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian drone developer said on social media.
The company claimed it had prepared for possible attacks in advance and had managed to relocate its production capacity, including some operations abroad.
Skyeton has been operating since 2006 and specializes in unmanned aircraft systems. Its main areas of work include reconnaissance drones and light aircraft.
Earlier, Ukrainian media published footage showing several destroyed production facilities in the Ukrainian capital.
In its May 14 update on the special military operation, the Russian Defense Ministry reported a massive «retaliatory strike» against Ukrainian defense industry sites and military airfields. According to the ministry, Kinzhal missiles were among the weapons used in the attack.
The Russian Defense Ministry said the large-scale group strike was carried out in response to Ukrainian attacks on civilian facilities inside Russia. It also stated that all designated targets had been reached and the assigned sites had been hit.
