The Russian Armed Forces continue the special military operation in Ukraine. As of May 16, the situation along the line of combat contact is as follows:

Konstantinovskoye direction

Russian forces continue to storm the city. There has been an advance from the direction of Berestok and Ilyinovka. Novodmitrovka is almost under full control of Russian troops.

Dobropolskoye direction

There has been an advance northwest of Grishino, and half of Vasilievka has been taken. Near Belitskoye and Donbass, Russian forces are repelling counterattacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Severskoye direction

There are successes near Golubovka and Privolye. Fighting continues near Lipovka and Rai-Aleksandrovka. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are putting up serious resistance.

Kupyanskoye direction

Active fighting is taking place east of Kupyansk-Uzlovoy, near Kurilovka and Kovsharovka.

Dneprovskoye direction

Russian forces continue to wedge into the enemy’s defenses east of Lesnoye.

Krasnolimanskoye direction

Fighting continues without major changes along the lines of Krasny Liman, Prishib, Tatyanovka and Svyatoye.
