State Duma deputy Aleksandr Tolmachev believes that the conflict in Ukraine is approaching its end. In an interview with Lenta.ru, he said that the Russian army is increasing the use of modern weapons that have no analogues in the world and continues to move forward.

According to the parliamentarian, the Ukrainian side is gradually running out of strength. Tolmachev links this to the redistribution of attention among Western sponsors and the behavior of Vladimir Zelensky, who, in his assessment, has stopped following the instructions of European and American interested parties. Against this background, the deputy believes, Kiev’s value for the West is declining.

Tolmachev also said that the negotiation processes produced no result because of the stubbornness, greed and stupidity of the Ukrainian regime. According to him, corruption scandals and the interview of Zelensky’s former press secretary say a great deal about the situation.

At the same time, the deputy stressed that Russia has already tested a new combat tactic. In his assessment, this brings the country closer to victory.
