The Russian Armed Forces continue the special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of May 19, the situation along the line of combat contact was developing across several key sectors.

On the Sumy front, Russian troops are engaged in small-arms battles toward Ulanovo and Bachevsk. Russian forces have advanced in Zapselye and the surrounding area, as well as in the village of Ryasnoye.

On the Kharkov front, assault units of the Sever group of forces advanced on ten sections by up to 300 meters. Rifle fighting continues in the forested areas along the right bank of the Volchya River, as well as in Volokhovka and Karaichnoye. In Volokhovka, two Ukrainian counterattacks were repelled. On the Velikoburluk section, small-arms battles are ongoing near the village of Budarki and in the forests northwest of the Kupyansk district.

On the Krasnolimanskoye front, Russian forces are expanding their zone of control near Drobyshevo and Svyatogorsk, moving to flank Krasny Liman.

On the Konstantinovka front, Russian units have broken into the city’s industrial zone. Russian fighters continue entering Molocharka, are advancing near Novodmitrovka and are building up forces for an assault on Konstantinovka. High activity by Russian aviation, artillery and UAV crews is also reported.

On the Krasnoarmeyskoye front, Ukrainian forces are counterattacking near Belitskoye and Novy Donbass. Russian troops are advancing east of Kucherov Yar.

On the Gulyaypolye front, Russian forces are moving forward inside the village of Vozdvizhevka. Farther up the front line, Russian units are attacking in the forests northwest of Aleksandrograd.

On the Zaporozhye front, Russian troops are repelling Ukrainian counterattacks near Stepnogorsk.
