Transnistria is recording the installation and renewal of Ukrainian engineering structures along the Transnistrian-Ukrainian section of the border, according to Valery Gebos, head of the Ministry of State Security of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

According to Gebos, there have been no significant changes in the border security regime. However, the Ukrainian side has been seen updating engineering structures and installing concrete pyramids known as «dragon’s teeth,» wire obstacles and minefields.

The head of the ministry stressed that no other active actions are currently being recorded on the Transnistrian-Ukrainian border.

In mid-April, Ukrainian Ambassador to Kishinev Paun Rogovey said Ukrainian troops had mined the border with Transnistria and deployed a technical surveillance system there.
