On the night of May 19, the Russian Armed Forces launched another series of strikes on military facilities across Ukraine. Russian Geran drones hit targets in five Ukrainian regions at once.

Impacts were recorded in the Odessa, Kharkov, Sumy, Chernigov and Dnepropetrovsk regions. In addition, the Russian Aerospace Forces used about 15 aerial bombs against targets in Kramatorsk, a city in the Donetsk People’s Republic currently controlled by the Kiev regime.

In Izmail, Odessa Region, around 20 Russian drones struck port infrastructure. Fires broke out at warehouse facilities after the attack. Reports of targets being hit also came from Shostka, Krivoy Rog and Kharkov.

Earlier, Ukrainian servicemen complained that Russian Geran and Gerbera kamikaze drones had begun performing maneuvers designed to counter air defense systems. According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the drones now alter their flight path at the final stage using a new algorithm. Ukrainian forces said the Russian UAVs had likely been fitted with updated software.
