Iranian army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia said that Iranian forces will open new fronts if aggression by the United States and Israel is repeated.
According to Akraminia, if the enemy again decides to attack Iran and once more falls into what he described as an Israeli trap, Tehran will respond with new fronts, different methods of action and additional levers of pressure. His statement was reported by Fars.
The day before, Donald Trump claimed that the United States had planned a strike on Iran but postponed it at the request of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE in order to preserve the possibility of reaching an agreement. At the same time, he ordered the military leadership to be ready for a full-scale offensive if no deal is reached. Trump named the absence of nuclear weapons in Iran as one of the conditions.
Against this background, a military source in Tehran said that Iranian forces had prepared new tactical steps in the event of another attack. The Iranian Foreign Ministry also stated its readiness for any scenario in the development of the conflict.
In addition, Tehran said it had received comments and amendments to the draft agreement, but the United States ultimately rejected the document anyway.
