The Russian Armed Forces continue the special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of May 20, the situation along the line of combat contact was developing across several fronts.

On the Sumy front, Russian troops advanced on 19 sections by up to 600 meters. Clearing operations are continuing in the basements of buildings in Zapselye.

On the Kharkov front, Russian assault units drove Ukrainian forces out of Volokhovka and took control of the village. Rifle battles continue near Budarki and in forested areas. Russian troops are also pushing through Ukrainian defenses toward Kupyansk-Uzlovoy.

On the Krasnolimanskoye front, Russian forces are expanding their zone of control around Drobyshevo and Svyatogorsk. On the Seversk section, fighting continues south and east of Rai-Aleksandrovka.

On the Konstantinovka front, Russian units are attacking from Ilyinovka and Dolgaya Balka. Tactical gains have been reported in Molocharka. Russian forces are using all available firepower to disrupt Ukrainian logistics inside the urban area of Konstantinovka.

On the Krasnoarmeyskoye front, fighting is underway in Vasilevka and Mirnoye. On the Dobropolye section, clashes continue west of Belitskoye and near Novy Donbass.

On the Gulyaypolye front, Russian troops are expanding their zone of control around Vozdvizhevka. Battles are ongoing near Gulyaypolskoye, while farther up the front, fighting continues east of Lesnoye.

On the Zaporozhye front, Ukrainian forces have taken another part of Primorskoye. The Ukrainian side is also sending reinforcements into Stepnogorsk.
