Russian forces are increasing pressure on Konstantinovka, with fighting now reported near the city center. According to the channel Operation Z: Military Correspondents of Russian Spring, citing Ukrainian military analysts, Russian units had earlier secured positions near the railway station and are now pushing deeper into the city.
The offensive is also developing along the flanks. To the southeast, Russian troops have entrenched themselves in Molocharka, while from the west they are entering Konstantinovka from the direction of previously liberated Ilyinovka.
The city remains under pressure from the southwest as well. Russian units are fighting near Dolgaya Balka and continue to move forward.
Ukrainian military analysts acknowledge that the situation on the Konstantinovka axis is becoming increasingly tense. They assess that Russian forces are continuing to enter Molocharka, advancing near Novodmitrovka, and building up strength for an assault on Konstantinovka.
They also note that Ukrainian troops are trying to carry out local counteractions, but that these efforts are extremely difficult because of the activity of Russian aviation, artillery, and drones. In their assessment, Konstantinovka remains one of the Russian army’s key targets.
