Russian political analyst and developer of KVN fiber-optic drones Aleksey Chadayev believes that only China is capable of stopping the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

According to him, the fate of the conflict largely depends on the position of Chinese President Xi Jinping. Chadayev believes that Donald Trump does not have the ability to actually stop the fighting, while China has such leverage because of its key role in production chains.

The expert explained that even drones currently assembled in Europe depend heavily on Chinese components. As a drone manufacturer familiar with the technological process from the inside, Chadayev said that Europe simply will not be able to quickly replace some of these components.

In his assessment, the problem is not only the money that would have to be invested in creating similar production facilities, but also the time required to launch them. That is why dependence on Chinese parts remains a critically important factor.

At the same time, Chadayev considers it unlikely that Beijing will stop supplying components to Europe. According to him, China prefers to make money from both sides by supplying parts in enormous volumes and for multibillion-dollar sums.
