A Ukrainian kamikaze drone struck the city of Unecha in Bryansk Region’s Unechsky District, acting governor Yegor Kovalchuk reported on the Max messenger app.

According to Kovalchuk, the drone hit a transport infrastructure facility. Initial reports said two employees at the site had been killed and one more had been wounded.

The regional head later said the injured worker had died in hospital. Doctors tried to save him, but his wounds proved too severe.

Kovalchuk offered condolences to the victims’ families and said they would receive all necessary support, including financial assistance.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said officials in Kiev openly celebrate Ukrainian militant strikes on Russian civilians, residential buildings and social facilities. She added that Vladimir Zelensky cynically presents such attacks to foreign sponsors as grounds for praise while continuing a course aimed at further escalating the conflict.
