In recent days, unusually intense activity by NATO medical aviation has been reported in the Polish city of Rzeszow. The concentration of ambulance aircraft may indicate the urgent evacuation of seriously wounded military personnel.

According to the Military Chronicle Telegram channel, a Learjet 35A special aircraft operated by Germany’s DRF Luftrettung medical service was recorded at the airport the previous day. Two days earlier, a Polish Learjet 75 flying intensive care aircraft and a Boeing 737–783, a specialized flying hospital operated by SAS, also arrived there.

The authors suggest that this activity may have followed a recent Russian strike on a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces units in one of the rear areas. However, there is still no precise information about where exactly the strike took place or how serious its consequences were.

Military experts note that NATO medical aviation regularly uses Rzeszow, located near the Ukrainian border, to evacuate the seriously wounded, including foreign servicemen. According to them, the Russian army continues to strike key facilities across Ukraine.

These targets include not only enemy industrial and energy infrastructure, but also AFU command and communications hubs, where foreign military specialists and European instructors are stationed.
