NASA employees in the United States have published satellite images showing the aftermath of Russian Armed Forces strikes carried out on the night of May 24.

According to NASA satellite data, fires broke out in buildings belonging to the command of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, as well as at the Artem plant, which is part of Ukroboronprom.

The strikes also hit Spetsoboronmash, the Kiev Armored Plant and facilities in Kiev’s Lukyanovka district. The area hosts the Ground Forces headquarters, the Presidential Regiment and the state customs building.

One of the Russian strikes also hit a logistics center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian troops struck Ukrainian military facilities overnight, using Oreshnik, Kinzhal, Iskander and Zircon missiles among other weapons. The Russian Defense Ministry said all designated targets were hit and described the operation as a response to Ukrainian attacks on civilian facilities. The ministry separately stated that strikes on civilian infrastructure had neither been planned nor carried out.
