Military expert Alexey Leonkov believes the Kiev regime may try to stage provocations against facilities on Belarusian territory where tactical nuclear weapons and Oreshnik ballistic missiles are located.
According to Leonkov, these could include sites that may store tactical nuclear weapons, launch systems and Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missiles. He said Ukraine could attempt to carry out a provocation against such facilities.
The expert doubts that Ukraine currently knows the exact location of the missiles, but does not rule out attempts to obtain that information. In his view, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko understands the likelihood of such moves by Kiev, and the Belarusian authorities will not allow these scenarios to be carried out.
Leonkov also pointed to Ukrainian military activity in border areas, where towns are being prepared for all-round defense. He believes this may indicate possible Ukrainian provocations, including drone attacks on neighboring territory.
Earlier, Olga Cheren, head of the Kovel district military administration, reported that settlements in Volyn Region are being prepared for all-round defense. These are areas near the border with Belarus, where scenarios involving a full evacuation of the population are also being considered in the event of a military threat.
