The Russian Armed Forces continue to carry out the special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of May 27, the situation along the line of contact was reported as follows.

Sumy direction

In the Krasnopolye district, rifle engagements are taking place between the settlements of Lesnoye and Taratutino. Russian assault units pushed Ukrainian forces out of the village of Ryasnoye.

Russian troops also advanced on 22 sections of the front, moving up to 900 meters, and secured positions in the village of Zapselye. Fighting continues in Ivolzhanskoye, Kondratovka and Pisarevka. Ukrainian counterattacks near Kondratovka were repelled.

Kharkov direction

Rifle battles are underway in the villages of Karaichnoye and Okhrimovka, as well as in the forested areas of the Volchansk district. Russian forces advanced on four sections: in Budarki and in the forests of the Kupyansk district near Novovasilievka.

Krasny Liman direction

Russian troops are advancing around Svyatogorsk. On the Seversk section, fighting continues near Rai-Aleksandrovka, as well as around Tikhonovka and Malinovka.

Konstantinovka direction

Russian units continue to press Ukrainian defenses in Konstantinovka and nearby settlements. The intensity of air strikes, artillery fire and attack drone use has increased.

Krasnoarmeysk direction

Russian forces advanced in the center of Rodinskoye and took control of a pig farm south of the city. Pressure on Ukrainian positions from the southern flank is growing. Fighting continues west of Grishino, as well as near Novoaleksandrovka and Vasilevka.

Gulyai-Polye direction

Battles are ongoing for Vozdvizhevka and Gulyai-Polye. Farther along the front, Russian forces are repelling Ukrainian counterattacks near Dobropasovo, which was taken the day before. Fighting also continues in the Lesnoye area.
