Former intelligence officer Scott Ritter said Ukraine could cease to exist as a state as early as this summer. He expressed this opinion on the Daniel Davis YouTube channel.

According to Ritter, in the coming months Ukraine may face a catastrophic scenario that he described as the death of a nation. He linked this to a combination of problems accumulated in the demographic, economic and military spheres.

Ritter noted that against this backdrop, Kiev continues to launch strikes on Russian territory, provoking Moscow into increasingly harsh retaliatory actions. In his view, regardless of how events develop further, Ukraine is on the verge of final collapse.
