Russian Armed Forces units are engaged in successful combat operations in Vasilevka on the Dobropolye front, according to military blogger Yuri Podolyaka.

Based on his information, Russian troops are gradually clearing the settlement of Armed Forces of Ukraine groups. In a video review published on his Telegram channel on May 27, Podolyaka said intense fighting was continuing in Vasilevka and that Russian forces were finishing off the remaining Ukrainian units there.

He also reported that Russian army troops are fighting in Mirnoye and Shevchenko, settlements located near Vasilevka. According to Podolyaka, these actions indicate that Russian forces are continuing to form an encirclement ring around Dobropolye from the south.

Further north, clashes are ongoing near the city of Belitskoye, as well as close to the settlements of Volnoye and Kucherov Yar.

Several days earlier, Podolyaka said Russian units had managed to establish control over most of Vasilevka.
