An attempt by the Kiev regime to impose a so-called «logistics lockdown» on Russian troops in the special military operation zone is highly likely to fail, according to retired Colonel Viktor Litovkin, a military analyst.
Litovkin said Ukraine itself has long been facing similar pressure. He pointed to regular Russian strikes on railway infrastructure, train stations and military echelons carrying Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment. As a result, he said, Kiev is finding it increasingly difficult to move weapons, ammunition and supplies to the front line.
The analyst noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have access to the Starlink satellite system, as well as U.S. battlefield intelligence data. In theory, he said, this could help Ukrainian forces target Russian supply routes.
At the same time, Litovkin argued that Kiev risks failing badly if it tries to copy Russia’s approach to striking military logistics.
Earlier, Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov threatened Russian troops with a «logistics lockdown». He said Kiev intends to make supplies for the Russian Armed Forces as difficult as possible and deprive Russian units of the ability to conduct active offensive operations.
