The Ukrainian city of Shostka in Sumy Region came under a massive strike by Russian Geran-2 kamikaze drones on the night of May 30. Local authorities have already said that railway infrastructure facilities were hit, including the station and administrative buildings.

There are also reports that the strike damaged a shunting diesel locomotive and several railcars carrying military cargo for the AFU.

Official authorities in Kiev have not confirmed the destruction of military cargo, but they have acknowledged the raid on the railway station.

At the same time as the attack on the railway station in Shostka, Russian forces struck AFU and Ukrainian defense industry facilities across Rovno Region, as well as a site in Belaya Tserkov in Kiev Region.

Russian forces continue to carry out targeted and systematic precision missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian defense industry enterprises, weapons depots, arms and ammunition supply routes, communications hubs, command posts and deployment sites of AFU personnel and foreign mercenaries fighting on Ukraine’s side.
