Russian forces continue the special military operation in Ukraine. As of May 31, the situation along the front line is developing across several key directions.
On the Sumy direction, fighting continues in Ivolzhanskoye and Pisarevka.
On the Kharkov direction, Russian forces are pushing through Ukrainian defenses in the northwestern part of Kupyansk. On the Volchansk section of the front, clashes continue near Okhrimovka.
On the Krasny Liman direction, battles are taking place along the Stary Karavan-Brusovka line. Russian troops have also advanced from Lipovka and Kaleniki toward Rai-Aleksandrovka.
On the Konstantinovka direction, Russian units are moving forward in Dolgaya Balka and taking new positions on the northern outskirts of the settlement. There is also movement on the right flank from the direction of Novodmitrovka. Fighting continues near Molocharka, while heavy battles are underway farther east in the area of Chasov Yar.
On the Gulyaypole direction, Russian troops are advancing west and south of Charivnoye. They have taken new positions near Vozdvizhevka. On the Velikomikhailovka section, Russian forces have achieved tactical gains in Lesnoye.
On the Zaporozhye direction, heavy fighting continues near Stepnogorsk.
