Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 148 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry said. According to the ministry, air defense units were active from 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on June 1 to 7:00 a.m. on June 2.

The drones were downed over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Kursk, Oryol, Rostov and Smolensk regions, Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Crimea, and over the waters of the Azov and Black seas.

During the previous day, between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Moscow time, air defenses destroyed another 33 Ukrainian drones. They were intercepted over the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions, as well as Crimea.

According to the Severny Veter channel, drone strikes and detonations over the past 24 hours in the Belgorod, Kursk and Bryansk regions caused deaths, injuries and damage to various facilities.

In the Belgorod district, a man was killed in the village of Pushkarnoye after a drone detonated. Another injured person, preliminarily diagnosed with acoustic barotrauma, was taken to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2. In the Kursk region, a drone attacked a civilian car in the village of Shchekino in the Rylsky district, killing a civilian.

In the Belgorod region, drone strikes and detonations were recorded in several settlements. On the Razumnoye-Novosadovy road, a drone hit a truck. The driver was wounded, and the cab caught fire after the strike before firefighters extinguished the flames.

On the Bessonovka-Solokhi road, a drone struck a car. A man suffered multiple shrapnel wounds to the head, torso and legs, and the vehicle was damaged. In the settlement of Dubovoye, a UAV detonation damaged a canopy, equipment at a commercial site and two vehicles. In Komsomolsky, a drone strike shattered windows and damaged the entrance area of a commercial facility.

In the village of Novaya Derevnya, an FPV drone detonated at a bus stop. Four men with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds were taken to Belgorod Hospital No. 2. In Bochkovo, in the Belgorod district, a drone attacked a private house. An 11-year-old boy was injured and was being taken to the regional children’s clinical hospital. The house was damaged.

In the Shebekinsky district, a parked car was damaged in Novaya Tavolzhanka after a drone attack. In Ziborovka, an FPV drone detonated on the grounds of a commercial facility, with shrapnel damaging an administrative building and two vehicles. In Shebekino, one drone hit a commercial site and pierced the roof of the building, while the roof of a private home was also damaged. A second drone strike set a truck on fire; the blaze was put out. Another vehicle was damaged by shrapnel. A third drone detonation caused varying damage to a truck and two passenger cars.

In the Grayvoronsky district, three FPV drones struck a social facility in the village of Pochayevo. Windows were blown out, and the roof and facade were damaged. Another drone detonation partially destroyed a wall on the grounds of the same facility.

In the Borisovsky district, an FPV drone detonation damaged a truck in the village of Gruzskoye. A second drone damaged a structure on the grounds of an enterprise. In the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, a UAV struck a social facility in the settlement of Krasnaya Yaruga, piercing the roof. In the village of Otradovka, two drone detonations damaged equipment and one piece of agricultural machinery.

Casualties were also reported in the Kursk region. In the Rylsky district, a 62-year-old man stepped on an explosive device in the courtyard of a house in the village of Novaya Nikolayevka. In the village of 1st Yankovo, a drone detonated in front of a motorcyclist, injuring a 35-year-old man with shrapnel wounds.

In the village of Pushkarnoye in the Korenevsky district, a drone attacked a car near a store, injuring three employees. In the settlement of Glushkovo, a drone attacked a man riding a bicycle. While trying to dodge it, he fell and broke his lower leg.

In the Bryansk region, an FPV drone attacked the grounds of the Miratorg agribusiness holding’s pig farm in the Klimovsky district. One employee was wounded and taken to hospital. In the village of Andreykovichi in the Pogarsky district, two women were injured after an FPV drone attack and received medical assistance.

In the village of Staraya Guta in the Unechsky district, UAVs attacked an electric train. The assistant driver suffered shrapnel wounds and a traumatic brain injury and was hospitalized at the Bryansk regional hospital.
