A Russian officer with the call sign Yozh said that Russian-made interceptor drones are capable of effectively destroying Ukrainian Hornet drones, but reliable protection of facilities requires a significant increase in the number of mobile fire groups.

According to the officer, the Hornet drone used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces can be countered by the Yolka interceptor, which operates without a warhead. At the same time, he stressed that technical capability alone is not enough: Russia needs more such drones, more personnel and more mobile groups capable of monitoring a large number of directions and facilities.

Yozh noted that protection against the mass use of Ukrainian UAVs requires expanding the network of mobile fire groups and using physical protective measures, including protective nets.

The officer added that electronic warfare and widespread internet shutdowns do not solve the problem in this case. In his opinion, physical protection is more effective against such drones than attempts at digital interference.
