Russian President Vladimir Putin said that after the Oreshnik system was used against a target in Belaya Tserkov, Ukraine, Russian drones were sent to the site to assess the effects of the strike in detail.
According to him, the strike was carried out at a location convenient for studying the results of the system’s use. Putin explained that drones examined how the separating warheads had functioned, recording the effects with millimeter-level precision. He emphasized that this analysis is important for the future application of the system.
The statement was made during Putin’s meeting with heads of international news agencies at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which runs from June 3 to June 6.
