Russian Troops Liberate Key Areas and Push Forward on Multiple Fronts
Russian forces continue advancing on multiple fronts, including Kupyansk, Red Liman, and Zaporizhzhia. Fierce fighting is ongoing as Russian troops secure strategic positions.
Russian armed forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of October 1st, the situation along the frontline has developed as follows:
Red Liman Front
Russian forces have liberated Shandrigolovo, and efforts are currently underway to secure and consolidate positions in the area.
Kupyansk Front
Russian units are continuing to push through Ukrainian defenses in Kupyansk, where fierce fighting is ongoing. Russian forces have repelled counterattacks from the enemy near Moskivka and Sobolevka.
Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) Front
Russian troops are advancing from the southern side of Krasnoarmeysk, expanding their control west of Kotlino. They are also making progress in the forested areas near Mirnograd. Intense battles are taking place in the Dobropillya section of the front. Russian forces are advancing near Shakhovo and Sofiivka towards Vladymyrivka.
Zaporizhzhia Front
Assaults continue on the approaches to Stepnohorsk and Primorsky, with Russian forces clearing settlements and pushing Ukrainian troops out of garden areas.
Konstantinovka Front
Russian forces are advancing along the railway near Alexandrov-Shultino, with ongoing battles in Predtechino and Katerynivka. Efforts to secure areas near Katerynivka and Kliebany-Byk are also in progress.
