The Ukrainian Armed Forces have changed their tactics in attacks on Energodar and are now striking the city at night using heavy Baba Yaga hexacopters. Energodar, located near the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, has come under a new wave of nighttime attacks, Mayor Maxim Pukhov said.

According to him, the situation in the city remains extremely tense. Pukhov said the May strikes have been followed by June attacks, while Ukrainian forces have changed their methods. At night, heavy hexacopters hover over Energodar and deliberately drop explosives on civilian and public sites.

Over two nights, a post office branch, a bank, a party reception office and a sports store were burned in Energodar. Pukhov noted that these premises were attached to residential buildings where people live. Around 20 cars were also destroyed by fire.

At the same time, the mayor stressed that no residents were killed or injured in the attacks. Emergency services managed to protect apartments and nearby premises located next to the burned-out sites.
