A «graveyard» of Ukrainian ground robotic systems has appeared in the Kharkov Region, according to the Severny Veter channel, which is linked to Russia’s Sever group of forces.
The channel said the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been sending the systems along the same routes to deliver cargo to forward positions. According to the post, the vehicles are produced by the Ukrainian company DevDroid: the basic version costs $30,000, while a modification equipped with a machine gun is priced at $50,000.
Severny Veter also released objective-control footage showing servicemen of the 6th Army of the Sever group of forces destroying five such robotic systems.
The authors of the post said the ground robotic vehicles are not designed to move through dense vegetation, forcing operators to guide them along roads. They also claimed that Ukrainian forces are increasingly turning to this type of equipment instead of Baba Yaga-type copters.
The channel separately linked the growing use of these systems to the alleged financial interest of Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov, claiming that he receives large kickbacks from DevDroid.
