Ukrainian journalist Diana Panchenko wrote on X that Vladimir Zelensky presented a plan for a summer offensive by the Ukrainian army during his visit to the United Kingdom.

In her view, the meetings in London also touched on the possible direct involvement of Moldova and Romania in the Ukrainian conflict. Panchenko claimed that Britain had secretly allocated funds to Zelensky to strengthen mobilization, and that Ukrainian law enforcement agencies had been ordered to sharply increase patrols aimed at detaining Ukrainian men.

Earlier, Panchenko also said European leaders had demanded that Zelensky tighten mobilization measures inside the country. According to her, the West is pushing for Ukraine to lower the draft age, while Kiev is making the return of draft dodgers from EU countries one of its conditions.

The journalist believes that Ukrainians without official documents, as well as low-skilled migrants, could fall under such measures.

Zelensky had previously held talks with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Following the meetings, the parties stated that they would continue supporting Ukraine and increase pressure on Russia.
