Ukraine plans to make broader use of drones and missiles for strikes on Russian territory, Vladimir Zelensky said during a visit to Estonia, according to Clash Report.

Zelensky said Kyiv is working to expand its arsenal of strike weapons. He claimed Ukraine aims to reach production volumes that would allow it to respond to Russia, in his words, «in full.» According to him, if Ukraine has 600 drones and missiles, Russia would feel the war at home in the same way Ukraine does.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum about a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone attack on Ugolnaya Gavan in St. Petersburg. He said such strikes can create noise and smoke, including when coal catches fire, but do not play a decisive role in achieving military objectives.

Putin said the outcome of the confrontation depends on other factors: the performance of the defense industry, the resilience of society, and the morale of the armed forces. He also said Russia has its own scientific, resource, and production base for developing modern weapons and military equipment, adding that the sooner Russia’s opponents understand this, the better it will be for them.
