A cluster-warhead version of the 3M14 Kalibr cruise missile has been identified in Ukraine after specialists examined missile debris, the Telegram channel Osvedomitel reported, citing the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

According to the Ukrainian side, missiles of this type were first used in spring 2026. The channel noted that a similar modification had previously appeared on the Kh-101 cruise missile, also known as Izdeliye-504AP.

The Ukrainian analysis also points to similarities between several Kalibr components and parts used in other missile systems. In particular, the opposing side claims that Kalibr missiles are fitted with tail control surfaces, a satellite navigation system and an onboard computer also used in Iskander-K missiles. Some separate units are said to match components found in Oniks missiles.

Kalibr is a family of Russian long-range cruise missiles. Under NATO classification, the 3M-54 version designed to strike naval targets is designated SS-N-27 Sizzler, while the 3M-14 variant used against ground targets is known as SS-N-30. The missiles are intended to engage surface ships, submarines and land targets, including at different times of day and in various weather conditions.
