State Duma Defense Committee member Andrey Kolesnik said Russia intends to respond to Ukrainian attacks on civilians with both precision and large-scale strikes.

According to him, the scale and format of the strikes will depend on military necessity. Kolesnik said Ukraine would face heavy losses for attacks on civilian areas, adding that Russia has a clear approach to such actions.

He stressed that Russian forces would target not only Ukraine’s military-industrial facilities, but also other infrastructure. Kolesnik argued that Ukraine’s civilian and military systems are closely connected, which means the consequences also affect the civilian sector.

The lawmaker also said that everyone involved in strikes on civilians would face personal responsibility. According to him, military investigators and prosecutors are recording the details and identifying those connected to such actions, which will later allow each case to receive a legal assessment.

Earlier, Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said two people were injured after a strike hit a multi-storey residential building in Krasnodar. They were given the necessary medical assistance.

During the night, Ukrainian drones also attacked the Seversky District of the region, damaging several private houses and injuring one person. A drone threat alert was declared across the entire region.
